When I first emerged from acting school I was too young to be tall and too tall to be young. So I found a niche in the Corporate world performing at Gala’s and Sponsorship events. I haven’t passed up one of these events to this date. I even toured Germany as a life size Barbie. Animating excitement into special events is an art that is dear to me. I love the challenge of charging environments with one of my supersized characters. COMEDY
Manuela is a peculiar brand of character driven comedy.
Her stand up routines and one woman show involve quick character & costume changes. Drawing upon her ten years in the cirque / cabaret world Manuela paints a world of larger than life characters. And when they interact get ready for mayhem and metamorphosis. As a new mother & wife Manuela is working on new material about the collision of souls, desires, advertising, and schedules that is the modern family. Trained in classical theatre Manuela has performed in numerous stage productions, TV shows, and independent movies. In 2007 she earned her Screen Actors Guild Union Card for an appearance in Rent. SINGING
I sing the three worlds in which I have loved the most.
Darkly alluring, maliciously benevolent, or deliciously dictatorial I want to cabaret the listener into a lurid late night ambiance. Wildly thrilly, bodaciously bawdy and triumphantly intoxicating I live to sing the spirit of Octoberfest. And growing up yodeling, that form of singing is the way I navigate the roots of culture. These are the three worlds that inspire me to sing and I am available to perform any mix of the three worlds for any event. I am currently in production for an ecclectic Octoberfest inspired Album, and preproduction for a sultry, jazzy cabaret inspired album and having found love in America I am chomping at the bit to record a country yodeling album. Yodeling Dominatrix
The Yodeling Dominatrix name is “Hildegard van Schlag”. She stands 6 foot 10 inches tall and dominates her subjects with yodeling. Unfortunately her dungeon is completely full and has no availability for new subjects. (so sorry) ) “Hildegard van Schlag”, is available to reign over special events as imported royalty or MC and loves subduing audiences with a 15 minute set of earbending yodels. Her list of requirements is extensively extreme. If you think you have a community worthy of her attention or want to invite her to an event she will happily send two of her minions to inspect it.
