SAM Remix goes downtown

Teatro Zinzanni hired me to perform on this event for them and it seems that it will be a realy super fun party!!! So please come on down and party with me!!!

Poetry, DJs, “highly opinionated” art tours and (temporary) Michelangelo tattoos will mix things up amid the masterpieces at Seattle Art Museum’s Remix party, 8 p.m.-midnight Nov. 6 at the museum, 1300 First Ave.

The event also heralds the opening of “SAM Next: Heide Heinrichs,” a collection of mixed-media sculptures and drawings by the Seattle-based Heinrichs.

Among the activities are performances by stilt dancer Janet Rayor, DXARTS Sound Lab and cellist Paul Rucker. Partygoers can listen to poetry and take a “My Favorite Things” art tour with Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
